Casual Agitator Driver / Relief Batcher Wanted! Join us as a casual Agitator Driver/Relief Batcher and enjoy competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and a supportive team culture. You’ll operate contemporary, well‑maintained agitator trucks while also providing relief batching support when required.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $40.77 (inclusive of 25% casual loading). Overtime: time and a half after 7.6 hours, double time after 10 hours.
Job location: Gladstone Concrete Plant.
10‑day comprehensive training program for all new starters.
Position Duties
- Loading and delivering concrete as an agitator driver.
- Performing pre‑start checks.
- Yard duties including cleaning of trucks and general site maintenance.
- Batching of pre‑mixed concrete and allocating customer jobs.
- Operating the front‑end loader (for those with ticket or experience).
- Completing stock takes.
- Supporting purchasing activities.
- Ensuring safety and quality procedures are always followed.
About You
- Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.
- Current White Card or willingness to obtain it.
- Experience with SAP and Command batching system, or willingness to learn.
- Experience ordering materials and maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Ability to assist in plant maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
- Strong customer communication skills, able to represent the business professionally on‑site.
- Good computer literacy and ability to follow processes.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- A safety‑first attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, presentable truck.
