BlueRock is growing. We need a Senior Bookkeeper to join our Collins Street office, working full‑time with flexible start and finish times.
What you'll be doing
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Bank and credit‑card reconciliations
- End‑to‑end payroll including superannuation, payroll tax and workers’ compensation
- Lodgement of superannuation
- P&L; and balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly reporting, including cash flow
- Mentoring and developing junior staff
- Managing workflow and ensuring compliance for junior staff
Requirements
- Relevant degree or diploma, major in accounting or bookkeeping
- Tech‑savvy with a quick learning ability for recent systems
- Experience with Xero accounting software and intermediate‑to‑advanced Microsoft Office skill set (especially Excel and Word)
- Experience mentoring junior staff
