The Orange Door provides a central access point for children, young people, families, and individuals experiencing family violence, family safety concerns, and wellbeing challenges, ensuring they receive timely support and access to the services they need. We are seeking a Child Wellbeing Practitioner to join our integrated team at The Orange Door in Sunshine. This is a meaningful opportunity to play a critical role in improving outcomes for children, young people, and families by providing initial engagement, assessment, information, advice, and support to those experiencing vulnerability, risk, or family violence. ABOUT THE ROLE:

- In this role you will:
- Support children, young people and families experiencing family violence, vulnerability and risk.
- Work collaboratively within The Orange Door integrated practice model.
- Be the first point of contact for families seeking support.




- Provide information, advice and referrals to appropriate services.
- Complete initial wellbeing and risk assessments.
- Deliver child-focused and family-centred responses.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for families.
- Contribute to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and families.

We are currently recruiting 2x Full time opportunity based in Sunshine, VIC reporting to the Coordinator of The Orange Door KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualification(s) and experience that meet or are working towards the Victorian Government’s Mandatory Minimum Qualification Policy for the family violence workforce.
