This is a contingent position based upon contract award. This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

Job Summary

The Construction Estimating and Pricing Lead will work at the direction of the Construction Manager to develop cost estimates and price proposals for facility upgrades, facility repairs, new construction projects and associated designs. The Pricing Lead will need to collaborate with KBR’s Estimating, Procurement, Contracts and Management teams to develop timely, compliant, and accurate estimates and proposals. The Estimating and Pricing Lead will also collaborate with customer staff, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to achieve the same goals. The selected individual will also generate proposals for project change orders and assist with project control duties when they have availability. The position will have a dotted line to KBR’s Sr. Pricing Director to ensure the position has any training,



technical support and review support required.

Roles And Responsibilities

- Develop cost estimates and price proposals for a variety of design and construction projects, and applicable change orders
- Ensure estimates and price proposals are timely, accurate and compliant with KBR and customer requirements
- Evaluate requests for proposals to define response requirements
- Develop and maintain pricing models
- Support customer and subcontractor negotiations
- Present analysis, recommendations, estimates and price proposals to KBR leaders and the customer in an organized, impactful, and effective manner
- Collaborate with other KBR departments to collect and organize cost information that will be incorporated into estimates and proposals
- Provide supplemental cost collection and analysis support to the Project Management organization
- Provide training and management oversight to other Pricing Analysts

Basic Qualifications

- 10+ years of construction project estimating and pricing experience
- Prior experience at a government contractor and/or as a government Cost Analyst or Estimator (IGCE development) developing cost estimates for construction and/or facility maintenance
- Familiarity with federal acquisition requirements (FAR) and experience responding to requests for certified cost or pricing data and providing associated certifications
- Demonstrated experience with firm fixed price or hybrid contract types.



Ability to identify risks and opportunities relative to the requirements and contract type
- U.S. Government-issued Top Secret clearance and willingness to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly
- Willingness and ability to live in a beautiful but austere environment
- Strong analytical and effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently to meet internal and customer-defined deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on U.S. military or other Government agency base or facility operation contracts or proposals
- Experience managing other Pricing Analysts
- Project control and scheduling experience
- A degree in construction management, construction engineering, or a related technical field
