Practice Group Summary

Shareholder Advisory services include M&A; Advisory, Activism Preparation and Defense, Board Governance Services, Corporate Governance Advisory, Proxy Solicitation, Capital Markets Intelligence, Global Debt and Bondholder Services, and Stakeholder Research.

The Prospect

We are looking to strengthen our team in Sydney with a new Manager to support our growing client list and help us maintain our market-leading position.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Client Services team with exceptional client management and comprehensive execution of shareholder campaigns (M&A;, AGM, EGM, ECM) for clients in Australia.




- Develop and nurture strong client relationships to support the renewal of mandates and grow the size of mandates with upselling and cross‑selling of Sodali services.
- Prepare, check, and send updates to clients in relation to active campaigns in line with requirements and articulate key findings during working group calls.
- Write insightful and effective scripts for telephone shareholder engagement campaigns.
- Provide effective support to Management and other business areas.

Skills & Experience

- 3+ years' client relationship experience, ideally within a capital markets facing consulting or advisory environment.
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- A sound understanding of Australian capital markets.
- Strategic and commercially minded, with a strong bias for execution.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive, results‑oriented self‑starter.
- The ability to deliver day‑to‑day client work while managing time and prioritising tasks effectively.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AI tools.
