We are seeking a Business Applications Specialist to own, optimise and continuously enhance the enterprise applications that underpin service delivery across Comlink Australia.

Reporting to the ICT Manager, you will be the internal functional and technical specialist for our business‑critical applications. Working across a portfolio of enterprise systems, you will optimise, integrate and continuously improve the platforms that support service delivery while contributing to the organisation's evolving digital transformation and application roadmap.

About the role

As our Business Applications Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of enterprise applications, ensuring they remain reliable, secure and aligned to the evolving needs of the organisation.

Working across business and technology teams, you will configure and optimise applications, improve workflows and automation, manage integrations, coordinate system enhancements and support successful adoption across the business. As our technology landscape evolves, you'll play a key role in shaping how enterprise applications continue to support operational excellence and future growth.

You'll also act as the senior escalation point for complex application issues, working with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions that improve efficiency, user experience and business performance.

Key responsibilities

- Own the administration,



configuration and optimisation of the organisation's enterprise applications.
- Configure workflows, forms, business rules, permissions and application security to support operational requirements.
- Continually improve enterprise applications to maximise business efficiency, usability and performance.
- Design, develop and maintain integrations between enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform, APIs and middleware.
- Translate business requirements into practical application solutions through requirements gathering, solution design, testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Lead application enhancement projects, upgrades, releases and feature deployments in partnership with software vendors.
- Act as the Level 3 escalation point for complex application incidents, troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating vendor support where required.
- Manage application security, role‑based access and segregation of duties.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, knowledge articles and user guides.
- Support improved reporting, data integrity and information flow across the application portfolio.
- Deliver user training and enablement activities that maximise adoption and effective use of enterprise applications.
- Contribute to continual improvement initiatives across ICT service delivery and business systems.

About you

You're someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates and finding smarter ways for technology to support it. You naturally look for opportunities to simplify processes, improve user experience and make enterprise applications work harder for the organisation.

You're equally comfortable configuring a platform, working with vendors, gathering business requirements and partnering with operational leaders to deliver practical technology solutions that create measurable business value.

You will bring:





- 5+ years' experience managing and optimising enterprise business applications such as CRM, ERP or SaaS platforms in a Business Applications Specialist, Functional Consultant, Systems Analyst or Application Administrator capacity.
- Strong hands‑on experience configuring and administering enterprise applications, particularly CRM and/or ERP platforms.
- Demonstrated experience improving enterprise applications to support business processes and operational performance.
- Experience designing and maintaining integrations using Microsoft Power Platform, APIs and middleware.
- Proven capability leading requirements gathering, solution design, testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Strong understanding of application security, role‑based access and governance principles.
- Experience managing enterprise application upgrades, releases and software vendors.
- Familiarity with ITIL v4 service management practices.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience developing user documentation, delivering training and driving user adoption.
- Experience within aged care, disability, health or community services will be highly regarded.
