The Opportunity

Whether you are an experienced Senior Registered Surveyor, a Registered Surveyor ready for the next step,



a Candidate Surveyor working toward your BOSSI registration, or just starting out in the industry, there is a role at Orion for you. You will be an integral part of the broader team and supported to grow into more senior positions over time.

Position Responsibilities

- Manage and deliver cadastral, subdivision and land development projects
- Work autonomously while collaborating with the broader team
- Assist with training and mentoring junior staff (senior roles)
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timeframes
- Build the cadastral experience required for your registration pathway (candidate surveyors)
- Assist senior surveyors in the field and learn the fundamentals of the trade (junior role)
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the business

About You

For Senior and Registered Surveyor roles:

- BOSSI registration
- Genuine experience across cadastral and subdivision work
- Ability to manage your own workload and work autonomously
- Proficiency with 12D and AutoCAD preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Committed to delivering quality work

For Candidate Surveyors working toward BOSSI registration:

- Actively working toward BOSSI registration, or ready to commence the pathway
- Solid surveying experience, with exposure to cadastral work highly regarded
- A genuine commitment to completing your registration
- Ability to work independently once a job is assigned
- Proficiency with 12D and AutoCAD preferred
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a supportive team
