A little about the role:

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurses to join our team in rural and remote healthcare settings. These roles require nurses with a strong background in telehealth, emergency care, and the ability to work across both General Ward and Emergency/Outpatients Departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality nursing care in both the General Ward and Emergency/Outpatients Departments.
- Triage patients and manage patient flow effectively.
- Take charge as the Registered Nurse in the ward when required.
- Be available for “on‑call” duties as needed.

Essential Requirements:

- Extensive experience in rural and remote nursing – 5 Years +
- Proficiency in telehealth and emergency care.
- Ability to manage and lead in a challenging healthcare environment.





Confirmation of annual maintenance of the following competencies:

- Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) competency (if required by location).
- Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK) competency (if required by location).
- Manual and patient handling.
- Infection control.
- Aggressive behaviour management.
- Mandatory reporting of reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect (
- Medication management, including Queensland Public Health Services (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations
- Understanding of the Aged Care Act and Elder Abuse responsibilities (where applicable).
