What will you do?
- Design and develop low voltage electrical systems for commercial and institutional projects.
- Review project briefs, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance and constructability.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and optimise designs.
- Prepare electrical calculations, lighting designs, technical reports and project documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants and other engineering disciplines.
- Attend design meetings and provide technical input throughout project delivery.
- Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards and relevant industry regulations.
What will you need?
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years' experience in electrical building services design, including at least 1 year working in Australia to Australian Standards.
- Experience delivering commercial or institutional projects.
- Proficient in PowerCAD, and Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and electrical design principles.
- Member (or eligible for membership) of Engineers Australia.
- Full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available).
