Overview

The Vancouver Island Health Authority Department of Cardiac Services has two opportunities for General Cardiologists to join with other members of Internal Medicine with a dedicated focus on Cardiovascular Disease, to establish a Heart Health Division in Victoria, which will be part of a well-established 21 member Division of Cardiology in Victoria. Responsibilities

Obligations include coronary care unit, cardiology wards and cardiology consultation service. Qualifications

Eligible applicants must hold certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Cardiology. Experience in Women’s health, adult congenital heart disease, cardio-oncology or cardiac rehabilitation is an advantage. Strong consideration will be given to applicants with fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiac Rehabilitation, or Level III echocardiography. Academic Affiliation
