A health service on the NSW/VIC border is seeking Consultant Psychiatrists to provide weekend locum coverage for an adult inpatient mental health unit throughout 2026. This role involves onsite clinical coverage during the day with on‑call support outside of those hours, within a well‑supported multidisciplinary inpatient environment.

24‑bed locked inpatient unit with 3 Intensive Care Area (ICA) beds

Support:

Registrar support 08:30 – 12:30 on Saturday and Sunday

Payment:

$2,500 per day

Car hire (approval required) or reimbursement for own vehicle at ATO rates

Onsite: 08:30 – 14:00 daily

On‑call: Phone support after 14:00
