Job Summary A Coastal Queensland hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice for a temporary assignment from 17 February 2026 to 23 April 2026.
Location North Burnett region of Queensland, approximately 335 km north of Brisbane. The facility is a 10‑bed community hospital serving a small town of about 1,981 residents.
Responsibilities
Provide general practice clinical services in the community hospital.
Run the GP clinic and share on‑call duties during the week and on weekends (7 shifts).
Support emergency, rehabilitation and palliative care services as needed.
Qualifications Registered with AHPRA and have the Right to Work in Australia.
Compensation Daily rate of $2,700.00.
