About This Role

What success looks like in this role: This Technical Field Engineer ensures that our federal government client’s systems stay secure, reliable, and mission‑ready through expert on‑site technical support and strong client engagement.

Responsibilities

- Install, diagnose, maintain, and service computer‑related products, including desktop/laptop computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, network, and software issues.
- Perform software and hardware diagnostics and build/upgrades PCs.
- Support a corporate Windows environment, including printing installation, deployment, configuration, and disposal.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout all interactions.
- Perform test and tag activities (highly regarded).

Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 months experience in a deskside support workplace.
- Proven experience performing fault investigation, triage, and resolution.
- Experience with desktop, server, hardware, network, and software installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with desktop support in a corporate Windows environment.
- NV1 or NV2 security clearance required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Test and tag experience is highly regarded.
