As a Civil Engineering Intern, you’ll work on complex rail infrastructure projects, gaining exposure to large transportation projects in Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, design and delivery of rail infrastructure projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Assist with projects that develop new rail corridors, expand existing networks and improve the productive use of transport infrastructure.
- Contribute to engineering calculations, technical documentation and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while developing your technical knowledge and professional skills.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits and learning opportunities to gain hands‑on experience across the project lifecycle.
- Build your understanding of rail engineering while contributing to projects that shape sustainable transport.

Qualifications
- Interns who are curious, excited to apply their studies, strong communication and teamwork skills, proactive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering (penultimate year) with a strong interest in rail.
- Full‑time availability from 16 November 2026 to 19 February 2027.
- Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand (student or graduate visas accepted).
