About the Role

Perth‑based, full‑time (5 days a week) role on a 12‑month contract.

The Subsea Engineer provides subsea engineering support to the Lead Subsea Engineer.

Responsible for optimizing subsea equipment and services planning, costing and operations.

Ideal Candidate Criteria

- Engineering degree.
- Minimum 5 years of drilling and completions related subsea engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of industry standards such as DNV, API, ISO, etc.
- Experience and demonstrable track record with participation in formal safety assessments (HAZID), HAZOPS and operational risk assessments.
- Experience in subsea operations, contractor management, installation planning, and operational improvement.
- Robust subsea engineering knowledge, including XT (Christmas tree), IWOCS (Installation Workover Control System), TBIRS (Through BOP Intervention Riser System),



OWIRS (Open Water Intervention Riser System), and ROV systems.
- Familiar with Light Well Intervention (LWI) planning and execution.
- Skilled in well engineering support, risk management, technical reviews, and safety assurance.
- Experienced in tendering, contract management, and supplier engagement.
- Proficient in subsea package management, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
- Strong stakeholder, supplier, and contractor management skills.
- Basic understanding of drilling, completions, and NOPSEMA regulatory requirements.
