Job Summary In this role, you will provide non‑routine cost engineering/planning and scheduling needs to projects. You will establish stakeholder relationships, conduct schedule analysis and integrate activities, identify restraints, quantify risks, monitor cost and performance, recommend alternatives, and deliver training sessions and workshops. Your activities will synthesize project components into seamless execution.
"This position is designated as part‑time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in‑person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in‑person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership."
Major Responsibilities
Provides and/or coordinates generally non‑routine cost engineering/planning and scheduling needs to projects
Responsible for total integration of schedule activities. Identifies schedule considerations and problems resulting from inter‑discipline or functional restraints and interfaces
Conducts project schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities
Recommends alternatives for schedule improvement to project team for discussion and/or decision
Responsible for leading, when requested, the development and review of schedule recovery plans, including evaluation of additional resources/costs required to affect such plans
Monitors cost recording and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards
Responsible for the development and accuracy of cost reports. Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency
Leads risk workshops, interviews and information gathering as it relates to risk identification, review, and update
Responsible for the establishment and continued improvement of project functional stakeholder relationships towards effective PERM execution and Customer interface with PERM activities including training as necessary
Delivers training sessions and facilitates workshops
Education and Experience Requirements
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated study‑phase project experience supporting planning and scheduling across concept, prefeasibility, feasibility, and engineering stages.
Advanced project planning and scheduling expertise using Primavera P6 within complex and evolving project environments.
Proven capability developing integrated schedules, critical path analysis, forecasting, and schedule risk assessments.
Experience managing planning activities in uncertain environments with evolving scope, assumptions, and project priorities.
Robust leadership, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and multidisciplinary coordination skills to support informed decision‑making.
