Senior Medical Officer – Emergency Department / General Practice Location: Fremantle & Inner Southern Suburbs, WA. Temporary position with a Southern WA hospital from 15 May 2026 to 30 July 2026.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care in the regional hospital’s ED, including mixed shifts of 0800‑1800 and 1500‑2300.

Medical support for inpatients, primary health care service, acute ward (10 beds) and residential care (22 beds).

On‑call duties 2300‑0800 for Category 1 presentations as required.





Document and manage patient care records in accordance with hospital protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

Board‑certified Medical Officer or equivalent with emergency medicine experience.

Solid clinical judgment and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Current registration with AHPRA and right to work in Australia.

Immediate availability for the stated dates.
