Flexible Working: Office-based with work-from-home flexibility

At our client Moits, we're continuing to grow and are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team in Macquarie Park.

We're looking for someone who understands civil infrastructure, enjoys working in a collaborative environment and can confidently price projects from concept through to submission. If you've built your career within a Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contractor, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

Working closely with our pre-contracts and delivery teams, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of civil infrastructure projects while helping identify opportunities, manage risk and contribute to successful project wins.

What You'll Be Doing

- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for civil infrastructure projects.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Identifying project risks and developing pricing strategies.
- Working closely with project managers and operational teams throughout the tender process.
- Attending site inspections and tender meetings where required.
- Assisting with value engineering and alternative construction methodologies.




- Supporting continuous improvement across estimating systems and processes.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 5 years' estimating experience within the civil infrastructure sector.
- Previous experience with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contractor is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and project delivery.
- Excellent commercial and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative approach with a genuine team-first attitude.
