Morisset Mobile Health is seeking an experienced, adaptable and thoughtful physiotherapist to join our mobile practice from 24 August 2026.
This is an initial seven-week fixed-term position, with 20 hours per week guaranteed. There is a strong possibility that the role will continue as an ongoing casual position beyond this period, depending on the successful applicant and the needs of the practice.
We are looking for someone who can think outside the box, work confidently and independently, and adapt their approach to each client’s individual needs.

About the role
You will provide mobile physiotherapy services to a varied client group throughout Lake Macquarie.
Your work may include:
- Providing individualised physiotherapy in clients’ homes and community settings
- Independently managing an allocated caseload
- Adapting treatment approaches to each client’s needs, goals and preferences
- Working collaboratively with clients, families, support people and other professionals
- Maintaining clear and timely clinical documentation
- Completing basic reports where required
- Providing physiotherapy support to clients receiving palliative care
- Managing your schedule in consultation with clients, with administrative support available
About you
We are looking for someone who is:

- Qualified, reliable and confident working independently

- Comfortable supporting neurodivergent clients
- Able to provide flexible, accessible and affirming care
- Comfortable working with clients receiving palliative care
- Organised and able to manage their time and caseload effectively
- Committed to respectful, person-centred community care
Essential requirements
You will need:
- A recognised qualification in physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- A minimum of one year of musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience gained after graduation
- A current driver licence
- Access to a reliable and appropriately insured vehicle
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently in mobile and community settings
Desirable experience
Further training, experience or knowledge in any of the following would be highly regarded:
- Vestibular physiotherapy
- Neurological physiotherapy
- Hypermobility and hypermobility-related conditions
- Disability or community physiotherapy
