Are you a strategic marketing and communications leader with a passion for creating meaningful impact? Join the National Centre for Farmer Health (NCFH) as the Marketing & Communications Manager, where you'll lead the development and delivery of marketing, communications, and brand strategies that promote programs, research, and services supporting the health, wellbeing, and safety of Australian farmers.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on strategic thinking, creative leadership, and building strong stakeholder relationships. You'll work with industry partners, farming communities, and external creative providers to deliver engaging, audience-focused communications that strengthen NCFH's profile and advance its mission of improving the lives of farming communities across Australia.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll provide strategic leadership across:

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Leadership —
Lead the development, implementation, and annual review of the NCFH Marketing and Communications Strategy, delivering integrated campaigns across digital, social media, website, events, and traditional channels that align with organisational priorities and achieve measurable outcomes.

Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Advice —
Provide expert communications advice to the leadership team, researchers, and program staff, translating complex research and health information into clear, engaging, and audience-focused communications for farming and rural communities.

Brand Management & Content Development —
Act as the custodian of the NCFH brand, ensuring consistent messaging, tone, and visual identity across all communication channels while overseeing the creation of high-quality content, including newsletters, reports, case studies, promotional materials, and digital communications.

Digital Presence & Agency Management —
Oversee and optimise NCFH's website and social media presence while managing relationships with external marketing, public relations, social media, and creative agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Leadership & Relationship Building —
Lead, mentor, and support the Marketing & Communications Coordinator while building strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams,



industry stakeholders, community partners, and external service providers.

Performance, Budget & Continuous Improvement —
Manage the marketing and communications budget, monitor campaign performance using data and insights, and drive continuous improvement to maximise the impact and effectiveness of NCFH's communications and engagement activities.

What You Bring

- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic marketing and communications plans
- Proven ability to lead integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes
- Strong brand management skills, ensuring consistent messaging across multiple audiences and platforms
- Experience building effective relationships with internal stakeholders, industry partners, and external agencies
- Expertise in digital marketing, including website, social media, and content management
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into engaging, audience-focused content
- Strong project, budget, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Analytical skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and an understanding of rural and agricultural communities
