In this role you will support the development of clear, actionable insights that shape enterprise-level strategy development and decision making. You’ll analyse macro trends and the competitive environment, and partner with stakeholders to solve problems and identify key strategic risks and opportunities.
This is a 6 month max-term opportunity based in Gadigal Country (Sydney) with the potential to convert to a full-time, permanent position
What You'll Do
- Analyse market and competitor data to help support the development of enterprise strategy, monitor IAG’s strategic execution and influence strategic choices.
- Support the identification of medium to long term key trends, competitive threats and opportunities.
- Structure and solve ambiguous business problems using hypothesis-driven analysis.
- Engage and collaborate with internal subject matter experts to extract key insights and form a position on the implications for the organisation.
- Support the development of verbal and written strategic insights and recommendations.
What you’ll bring
- 2-4 years relevant business experience (essential)
- Structured problem solving capability and experience (essential)
- Proven strategic analysis skills (essential)
- Modelling or other advanced analysis skills (preferred)
- Effective use of presentation tools and techniques (essential)
- Sound written and verbal communication skills (essential)
- Sound financial acumen (essential)
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple business units (preferred)
- Experience in stakeholder management (preferred)
- Tertiary qualifications (essential)
