Brunswick Dental Practice is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Dentist and assist with a wide range of general dental procedures, including surgical and wisdom tooth extractions.

Key Responsibilities

- Chairside assisting during general and surgical dental procedures

- Preparing the surgery and instruments for treatments

- Assisting with surgical extractions

- Maintaining infection control and sterilisation standards

- Processing instruments and managing stock

- Supporting patients before, during and after treatment

- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring smooth daily operations

Requirements





- Previous dental assisting experience is essential

- Experience assisting with surgical extractions is highly desirable

- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures

- Excellent communication and patient-care skills

- Reliable, organised and able to work efficiently in a busy setting

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred but not essential

This position would suit a confident and experienced Dental Assistant who is comfortable assisting with complex procedures and enjoys working closely with a supportive clinical team.
