About the role





We’re expanding our accounting division and looking for an Intermediate-to-Senior Business Services Accountant who wants to develop their expertise, work with diverse clients, and take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

While no two days will be the same, your main responsibilities will include:

- Prepare financial accounts and income tax returns for our small business clients, which include various structures such as companies, trusts, and individuals.
- Manage client’s tax compliance and ensure lodgements occur on time.
- Handle responsibilities encompassing BAS, IAS, and FBT returns, as well as CGT calculations, depreciation adjustments, and the identification of Div7a issues.
- Initial reviewer for outsourced offshore teams working papers.

About You

- 1-3 years of experience in a chartered accounting firm in Australia.
- In the process of pursuing, nearing completion, or having already obtained their CA/CPA qualification.
- Strong communication and effective problem-solving abilities, combined with the capacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and more is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in FYI Docs is preferred but not essential.
- Be a robust communicator and enjoy building long-lasting relationships.
