About the role As General Manager, you will own the performance and the culture of the Zeekr operation at Southport. The team is in place and the results are already coming, your job is to step in, lead from the front and take it further. Your role is to guide and streamline, you build the operating rhythm, tighten the processes, keep stock and deliveries flowing, and remove the friction that stops good salespeople from doing what they do best.

Your responsibilities will span:

Leading and developing an established team of sales consultants, building real capability and seeing careers grow under your guidance

Driving sales performance across the department and building on strong early results, with the pace and momentum of a brand actively growing its share of the market

Overseeing stock management and working closely with manufacturer representatives to keep the dealership competitive and well-supplied

Reviewing and refining sales processes so the team works smarter and customers leave with a genuinely positive experience

Shaping the customer experience around a new and exciting product, where the standard you set becomes the standard for the brand locally

Reporting on department performance to senior leadership, keeping you central to strategic conversations across the group

About you You are an experienced automotive leader who knows how to get the best from a team and turn that into consistent commercial results, and you are energised rather than daunted by the pace of a brand growing quickly in this market.

More about you:

Proven experience in a senior automotive sales management role,



ideally within a franchised new vehicle dealership

A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets without compromising customer satisfaction

Strong people leadership skills, with an ability to coach, hold accountable, and genuinely support your team

Comfortable reading financial and performance data to inform decisions and identify opportunities

An appetite for pace, and the drive to take something already performing well and push it further

A current Queensland driver's licence
