About the Role
An chance exists for an experienced Export Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end export operations across international markets. This role is responsible for managing sea, air and road freight shipments, leading a small team, coordinating export documentation, and ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage international export logistics operations across sea, air and road freight.
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, suppliers, cold stores and transport providers.
- Oversee vessel and container bookings and monitor shipment schedules.
- Manage export documentation, compliance requirements and Letters of Credit.
- Resolve logistics issues, delays and customer enquiries.
- Maintain strong relationships with international customers and supply chain partners.
- Manage freight costs, budgets and reporting.
- Lead and support the export administration team.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in international export logistics,
ideally within perishable goods.
- Strong sea freight and export documentation experience.
- Experience managing a small to medium-sized team.
- Knowledge of export systems such as Impex Docs, NEX Docs or REX.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and strong administrative capability.
Desirable
- Experience within the meat, food manufacturing or export sectors.
- Experience using SAGE or similar ERP systems.
- Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade or Business.
