Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced SMSF Accountant to join our Adelaide-based team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, understands the complexities of SMSF legislation and compliance, and wants to build their career within a respected and growing professional services firm.

About The Role

This is a specialist, client-focused role with exposure to a broad range of SMSF matters and the opportunity to become a trusted adviser to both clients and internal stakeholders.

Working with a diverse portfolio of SMSF clients, you will provide tailored accounting, taxation and compliance services while supporting sound investment and retirement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of SMSF financial statements, tax returns and compliance documentation.
- Managing a portfolio of SMSF clients and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensuring compliance with superannuation, taxation and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing a variety of investment structures and transactions.
- Providing technical SMSF advice and support to internal teams.
- Contributing to a high-performing team focused on quality, service and technical excellence.

About You

You are an experienced SMSF Accountant with a strong technical foundation and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Ideally, You Will Bring

- 3+ years' experience in SMSF Accounting.
- High proficiency in BGL Simple Fund 360.
- Strong experience across taxation including individuals, trusts, SMSFs and GST.
- Extensive knowledge of superannuation legislation and its application to SMSFs.
- A demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with superannuation law.




- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting.
- CA, CPA or other relevant postgraduate qualifications (or currently working towards completion).
