We Know Video is an integrated creative production company based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

We partner with brands and agencies from first idea through to final delivery, bringing creative development, production, editing, motion and emerging AI workflows together under one roof. Our work spans everything from fast-moving social content to large-scale campaigns for brands including Nike, Uber, Canva, Doritos and Google.

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and highly capable Video Editor to join our team full-time.

At its heart, this is a storytelling role. We want someone who can take raw footage, find the idea within it and shape it into work that is explicit, emotionally engaging and beautifully crafted.

You’ll work closely with our directors, producers, creatives, cinematographers and motion designers across a broad range of campaigns. Some projects will ask you to build a story from the ground up. Others will require pace, precision and dozens of carefully considered versions.

Whatever the size of the job, you’ll bring the same level of thought and care.

The core of this role is editing. Motion design, VFX and generative AI capabilities will make you even more valuable to the team, but what matters most is your taste, judgement, reliability and attention to detail.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Editing branded content, social campaigns, commercials, interviews, case studies and longer-form stories.
- Finding strong narratives within raw footage and translating creative concepts into effective edits.
- Owning projects through offline editing, feedback,



versioning and final delivery.
- Collaborating with directors and creatives to develop ideas and elevate the work.
- Using music and sound design to strengthen pace, emotion and storytelling.
- Creating polished motion graphics, titles and visual treatments where required.
- Supporting VFX tasks depending on your experience.
- Managing multiple deliverables, formats and platform specifications without allowing details to slip.
- Communicating clearly with producers, teammates and, when required, clients.
- Exploring new tools and workflows—including generative AI—when they can genuinely improve the creative outcome or production process.

Your Experience

Ideally, you’ll have:

- At least three years of professional editing experience within an agency, production company, post-production studio or similar creative environment.




- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating storytelling, craft and versatility.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of After Effects.
- A strong understanding of post-production workflows, media management and project organisation.
- Experience with sound design and an understanding of how audio shapes a story.
- Knowledge of social platforms, digital formats and online culture.
- Experience responding to creative and client feedback while protecting the quality of the work.

Experience in motion design, VFX, colour grading, Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine or generative AI platforms such as Runway and Higgsfield is highly valued, but not essential.
