Senior Test Manager – HCM & Payroll Transformation

CloudMarc is seeking an experienced Senior Test Manager to lead testing across a large‑scale HCM and Payroll transformation program.

This role requires genuine, hands‑on experience delivering complex workforce transformation initiatives within enterprise environments.

The Opportunity

You will own and drive the end‑to‑end test strategy across a major HCM / Payroll implementation, ensuring quality across integrations, data migration, payroll parallel runs, and go‑live readiness.

This is a high‑impact leadership role requiring strong stakeholder engagement across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and deliver the overall test strategy, governance, and reporting framework
- Lead testing across SIT, System Testing, UAT, payroll parallel runs, and cutover
- Manage validation across HCM platforms, payroll engines, integrations, and downstream systems
- Oversee data migration testing and reconciliation
- Coordinate multi‑vendor and cross‑functional delivery teams
- Drive defect triage, risk management, and executive reporting
- Provide explicit go‑live readiness assessments

Mandatory Experience

- Proven experience as a Senior Test Manager
- Genuine experience delivering HCM and Payroll transformation programs




- Strong understanding of payroll compliance, awards, superannuation, and regulatory obligations
- Experience managing large testing teams and complex workstreams
- Strong stakeholder engagement across HR and business leadership
- Experience within enterprise or multi‑vendor environments
- Must be able to travel interstate as required for payroll verification and validation activities

Bonus Points

- Experience with SAP Payroll or Oracle HCM / Oracle Payroll
- Experience leading payroll parallel runs within SAP or Oracle environments
- Large‑scale data migration and reconciliation experience
