Trauma/Critical Incidents - Psychologists, Social Workers and Counsellors - NSW

Converge is seeking motivated and experienced registered Psychologists, Social Workers and Counsellors to provide critical incident and crisis counselling support to our client organisations.

The Purpose of this role is to provide Rapid Response Services using the primary intervention models of Psychological First Aid, stepped care and referral pathways, to support Converge International’s customers during an incident or organisational change.

- Partner up with a leading Mental Health services provider
- Join a national trauma response team in Greater Sydney
- Combination of assessment and onsite/phone based response work
- Work flexibly from home/office
- Part-time or full-time opportunities available

About You:

- Experience in providing psychosocial interventions, support and counselling
- Relevant experience and minimum 3 years trauma management and/or relevant consultancy services
- Demonstrated ability to assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs and provide solution-focused advice




- Have a passion to help people and enjoy working flexibly in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills, report writing skills and your willingness to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude
