About the role

Are you a procurement professional ready to take the lead in shaping efficient, transparent and high-quality procurement outcomes across Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV)?

Join us as a Senior Procurement Advisor and play a pivotal role in delivering strategic procurement services that support essential justice operations across the state.

As the Senior Procurement Advisor, you'll drive the implementation and ongoing delivery of procurement processes across MCV. You will ensure all procurement activity—ranging from professional and staffing services through to complex Request for Tender processes—is conducted efficiently, strategically, and in line with government policies and procedures. Other key responsibilities will include:

- Lead Strategic Procurement Activities - Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders.
- Drive Stakeholder Engagement - Develop and maintain strong communication channels with key stakeholders.
- Deliver Specialist Systems Support - Guide teams through SPC procurement processes and eSourcing platforms including VendorPanel, Tenders.Vic and Zycus.
- Manage End-to-End Procurement - Lead complex procurement activities, conduct market analysis and prepare detailed reporting. Execute contract variations, monitor compliance and manage contract expenditure.
- Own the Documentation Process - Prepare high-quality procurement documentation and manage administration across government tender portals. Ensure procurement and contract management records meet compliance standards.

About you

- Demonstrated expertise in the conduct of public sector procurement processes, for social and/or justice services.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders to understand service needs.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and leading strategic procurement activities.
- Ability to apply experience and knowledge of work processes and practices to problem solve and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to identify risks to services and operations and apply appropriate mitigation strategies.
