The Payment Solutions Specialist (GTM Sales role) plays a key role in expanding Simpro Group Payments adoption across ANZ. This is a high‑volume, high‑velocity phone‑based sales role focused on speed to activation: you'll engage existing customers, run concise demo‑led discovery, close on the spot (typically 1–2 call closes), and personally guide customers through signup and activation.
You'll be selling into a warm, engaged customer base. Every conversation is with a business already running its operations on Simpro Group software. This is not cold new‑logo hunting; it's high‑contact, phone‑first engagement with customers who have a genuine, immediate need to get paid faster.
What You’ll Do
- Contact existing Simpro and AroFlo customers to introduce Simpro Payments, run high‑impact demos that double as discovery, and close opportunities on the spot where the solution fits – most customers will already have an incumbent payment solution.
- Own the full customer journey from first call through to activation: guide customers through signup, run the activation session (typically 30–90 minutes), and see each account through to actively transacting before moving to the next.
- Work a high‑priority warm lead list daily, including customers who have started the signup journey but not yet activated, alongside outbound calling into the existing customer base.
- Partner with ANZ sales and account management teams to identify payment opportunities within their accounts and drive execution to close.
- Track all activity in CRM (Salesforce) – opportunities, stages, discovery notes, and demo outcomes.
- Contribute customer feedback and frontline insight to help refine the payments playbook, campaigns, and product roadmap as the function scales.
- Represent Simpro Payments at customer events and conferences as opportunities arise.
What You’ll Bring
- High energy and genuine comfort on the phone; you’re happy making a high volume of calls every day and would rather ring a customer than email them.
- A track record of fast‑paced, high‑throughput sales or outbound activity, BDR/SDR, inside sales, or short‑cycle closing experience.
- Early‑career candidates with solid phone energy are genuinely welcome.
- Payments or fintech knowledge is advantageous but not required; the solution is straightforward and full training and support is provided.
- Ability to run confident demos, handle objections, and drive a conversation to a decision.
- Adaptability and a positive attitude. The payments function is growing fast and the way we work will keep evolving; you’re energized by that rather than thrown by it.
- Collaborative working style across internal teams.
