About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the Gather Dinner team on either a full‑time or part‑time basis. This hands‑on leadership role is ideal for a hospitality qualified who thrives in a fast‑paced restaurant setting, leads by example, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate all front‑of‑house F&B; operations during evening service.
- Lead, motivate, and support team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Welcome guests, handle enquiries, and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor service standards, presentation, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage shift rosters, staff allocations, and break schedules as required.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and end‑of‑shift reporting.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, workplace health & safety, and responsible service of alcohol requirements.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and communication.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering processes.
- Support the Restaurant Manager with operational and administrative tasks and perform any other duties as directed.

Skills & Experience





- Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar hospitality role.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Food safety certification (desirable).
- Full Australian working rights.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
