About The Opportunity

We’re seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a full‑time permanent role on a rotating shift roster.

- 12‑hour shifts; Day 6am‑6pm and Night 6pm‑6am.
- Weekdays: 1–4 × Night shifts, 2–3 × Day shifts, 3 × Night shifts, 4 × Day shifts; Week 4 – no shifts.
- Weekends and public holidays are paid at penalty rates.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
- PLC troubleshooting on automated machinery.
- Operating a production line to ensure minimal downtime.
- Set up and fine tuning of machines for optimal productivity.
- Work with high‑speed manufacturing equipment, understanding production demands.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.

What You’ll Bring

- A Grade electrical licence and trade qualification.




- Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in an automated manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to operate a production line and work with production team.
- PLC troubleshooting experience required with programming a bonus.
