Our client is a respected and established organisation known for its commitment to excellence and delivering high-quality services to its clients. Due to ongoing business demands, they are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts/Trust Officer to join their Finance team on a temporary basis.
Key responsibilities
- Handling reconciliation and investigating variances
- Set up and maintain new suppliers
- Processing accurate and timely invoices
- Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Administrate National Trust accounts, ensuring accurate processing of trust receipts, payments, journals, bank reconciliations, PEXA verifications, bank signatories, and statutory deposits.
- Manage controlled money accounts, including account openings and closures, month‑end reconciliations, and processing of receipts and payments
- Maintain compliance with trust accounting legislation,
internal policies, and audit requirements through accurate and timely financial processing.
- Respond to finance‑related enquiries and provide operational support to the National Trust and wider Finance teams.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with trust accounts
- Understanding of accounts payable functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
