What the role entails
- Assess, review and process grant applications
- Validate documents and request additional information
- Maintain accurate records and data in government systems
- Ensure decisions align with program guidelines, policies and criteria
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Respond to inbound enquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Provide transparent advice on eligibility and application steps
- Assist vulnerable community members with patience and care
- Escalate complex matters in line with procedures
What we're looking for
- Government administration, grants, community services or customer service experience
- Grants processing, data entry or compliance work experience
- Proficiency with systems such as SmartyGrants, Dynamics, CRM platforms or advanced Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
Shift flexibility – shifts may fall between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday depending on operational needs.
