Job Responsibilities:
As a Registered Midwife in Tasmania, you will:
- Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns.
- Support women and families through the birthing experience , ensuring safe and positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams , including obstetricians, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor fetal development and provide education and emotional support to expectant mothers.
- Perform routine maternal and newborn assessments,
ensuring optimal patient care .
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices .
Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking passionate and experienced midwives who:
Are registered with AHPRA (or eligible to apply)
Have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in midwifery
Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
Demonstrate compassion and dedication to maternal and infant care
Are adaptable and eager to work in diverse clinical settings
