We’re partnering with a major healthcare organisation delivering a large-scale hospital expansion and are now looking for an experienced Clinical Project Manager to support the setup and operational readiness of a newly expanded Emergency Department.
This role is focused on the clinical side of ED go-live. You’ll work alongside the Program Director and capital works team, taking ownership of clinical readiness, workforce coordination and safe activation of the service in a live hospital environment.
What you’ll do:
- Lead clinical operational readiness for the Emergency Department setup and go-live
- Coordinate clinical workflows, models of care and patient flow planning
- Support commissioning and readiness activities to ensure protected, compliant activation
- Work closely with ED clinicians, nursing leaders and operational teams
- Coordinate workforce onboarding, training and credentialling for the expanded ED
- Track risks,
dependencies and readiness activities across clinical workstreams
- Support governance, reporting and issue management in the lead-up to go-live
- Clinical background (e.g. nursing, allied health) or robust experience working directly with ED / acute clinical environments
- Proven experience supporting ED, hospital or clinical service setup, expansion or transition
- Solid understanding of patient flow, clinical operations and safety in emergency settings
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Someone calm, organised and comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
If you’ve supported ED go-lives, clinical transitions or hospital expansions and enjoy being hands-on in the detail, I’d love to chat.
