Our client is one of Australia's largest and rapidly growing law firms with a leading reputation. They prioritize personal growth and career objectives, connecting you with highly skilled and motivated professionals. Their Sydney office is now looking for a senior associate lawyer to join their corporate & commercial team.

About the role

We are actively seeking a senior associate with expertise in corporate & commercial law to join a well-regarded Sydney-based team.

This unique opportunity involves working on a diverse range of private M&A; deals, with a robust focus on the automotive sector, alongside general commercial and corporate advisory matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Work directly with clients and collaborate closely with partners
- Provide supervision, support, and mentoring to junior lawyers
- Handle private M&A; transactions, including drafting and negotiating business sale agreements, shareholder agreements,



loan and security documents, and other transactional contracts
- Deliver corporate advisory services, including advice on corporate governance and directors’ duties, reviewing general commercial contracts, and providing guidance on franchise and agency agreements within the motor vehicle sector

About you

You will have 5+ years PAE in commercial and M&A; work with strong attention to detail.

Additionally, you will have:

- Experience with property transactions and commercial lease experience
- The ability to balance legal and commercial considerations in negotiations and drafting
- Good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients and other parties
- The ability to lead and mentor junior lawyers
