Position Description

The practice is seeking a Locum General Practitioner to provide high‑quality primary healthcare services to patients during a temporary placement period. This role offers the opportunity to practice medicine in one of Australia’s most desirable coastal locations while working within a supportive and professional team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive general medical consultations to patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions




- Deliver preventative health care and health promotion
- Perform minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with practice nurses, administrative staff, and allied health providers
- Ensure compliance with AHPRA standards, Medicare requirements, and clinical governance guidelines

Essential Position Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner (General Registration or Specialist Registration)
- FRACGP, FACRRM, or equivalent preferred
- Eligibility to provide Medicare services in Australia
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
