Contract Position
Location: Blacktown
Duration: 4-month contract (potential to extend)
Rate: $52-$59 per hour + Super
Are you an experienced Project Manager ? This is an exciting chance to work on infrastructure maintenance and development projects within a key local council.

About the Role

As a Project Manager you'll be responsible for overseeing civil infrastructure projects, managing contractors and staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, writing scopes of work and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Project & Asset Management: Oversee the maintenance of civil infrastructure and ensure timely project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Supervise on-site staff and contractors, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to WHS regulations and implement risk management strategies.
- Procurement & Contract Management: Write scopes of work, manage RFQs,



and oversee vendor processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

About You

- Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 4+ years in civil construction, infrastructure maintenance, or local government projects.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage teams, contractors, and multiple projects.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of WHS regulations, contract management, and civil infrastructure.
- Bonus: Local government experience highly regarded!
- Must have: A valid Class C driver's license .
