The Business Administration Support Services (BASS) team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer (Reliever) to join their team on a permanent basis.

To provide and undertake a diverse range of confidential administration support services across Mackay-based facilities within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.

About the Team

Business Administration Support Services (BASS) provides a mechanism to support various work units within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service with appropriately skilled administration staff to backfill administration positions to meet service delivery needs.

The vast majority of the roles for which BASS provides support are patient-facing roles and will involve interaction with patients. The vacancies BASS supports occur as a result of various forms of planned, unplanned or extended leave,



including but not limited to:

- Planned Leave
- Secondments / Higher duty appointments
- Approved project specific work
