About the Role

HammondCare Strathearn House is currently looking for an experienced casual Registered Nurse to join our team. This role is a clinical support role carried out within a consultative and advisory context, emphasizing person-centred and relationship-focused care.

Essence of the Role

As an RN you will be a core member of the residential team, working with the management and carers to provide tailored and individualised responsive care for the residents. You will advise and support care delivery, educate and mentor staff, consult on case management and clinical decision‑making, provide clinical oversight and professional competence, implement resident comfort focus, and use the LeeCare online reporting system.

Responsibilities

- Be a core member of the residential team and work with both management and carers to provide tailored, individualised responsive care for residents.
- Advise and support the care delivery by care staff.
- Educate and mentor in clinical areas and processes.
- Consult in case management and clinical decision‑making.
- Provide clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse.
- Implement and support a resident comfort focus.
- Use LeeCare online reporting systems.

Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration with ideally 2–3 years experience in an aged‑care setting.
- Flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights and weekends.




- Value teamwork but also able to work independently and show initiative.
- Knowledge and experience of people living with Dementia and their needs.
- Genuine passion for serving elderly people and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
- Strong admin and computer skills.

Required Compliance
