The Role: Senior Infrastructure Engineer:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll own the design, build, and maintenance of our global infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, networking, and reliability across multiple cloud regions.
You will work alongside product and engineering teams on exciting projects while enabling faster delivery and maintaining high availability in a cloud-native environment.
This is a highly trusted role with full end-to-end responsibility: from early design discussions through to deployment and production monitoring.
What You’ll Do

- Design, implement, and scale infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Operate both Cloud Run and Kubernetes in production at scale.
- Ensure security best practices are embedded across infrastructure and deployments.
- Architect and manage cloud networking (VPCs,



load balancers, service meshes, firewalls, routing).
- Collaborate with product teams to design secure, scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Drive performance, resilience, and cost optimisation initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong expertise in GCP, Terraform, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Python for automation, tooling, and operational workflows.
- Deep understanding of cloud networking and distributed systems.
- Strong grounding in cloud security principles, identity management, and compliance.
- A collaborative team player with a hands-on, growth-oriented mindset.
- Candidates in the Melbourne area highly preferred for in-person brainstorming.

Nice to have:

- Knowledge of observability tooling (logging, monitoring, alerting).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Linux
- Background supporting production-grade SaaS platforms.
- Exposure to ERP integrations or financial systems.
