Base pay range

A$140,000.00/yr - A$170,000.00/yr

About the role

A highly successful Australian deep tech company has an immediate need for a talented DSP engineer with experience in signal processing, algorithm development, and AI / machine learning. The role will focus on algorithm prototyping, evaluation and implementation; processing of acoustic sensors and arrays, design of sophisticated signal processing technology, along with data wrangling and training/implementation of AI/ML models.

Responsibilities

- Sound experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Strong algorithm design background (including tracking algorithms)
- Strong signal processing / DSP background (sensors/hydrophones, audio or image processing)
- Algorithm implementation in C++
- An ability to design elegant solutions to complex engineering problems
- Commercial experience in product development or high-tech environments

Optional Experience in areas like radar,



radio telescopy, sonar, image processing, acoustics or biomedical signal processing would be helpful.
