Base pay range

A$162,470.00/yr - A$184,987.00/yr

- Continuing, Full-Time

- Lecturer (Level B) - Total Remuneration $134,885 to $157,870 pa (including salary of $113,980 to $133,403 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
- Senior Lecturer (Level C) - Total Remuneration $162,470 to $184,987 pa (including salary of $137,290 to $156,317 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
- One position available. Appointment level will be based on the attributes and experience of the successful candidate. Please indicate your preferred level in your application.

This role is open at either Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) , depending on candidate’s experience and research achievements. You will take part in advancing teaching, research and industry engagement in areas of Project and Construction Management. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a vibrant academic community and help drive innovation in teaching, research, and industry engagement!





You will deliver high‑quality teaching across undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs, supervise research students, and contribute to impactful research aligned with the School’s strengths. You’ll support curriculum development and quality assurance, engage with industry and professional bodies, and collaborate across teams to foster a positive academic culture.

Position Requirements

- A PhD qualification in Project Management/ Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering engaging, student‑centred teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including online and blended delivery.
- Teaching qualifications or willingness to undertake a Graduate certificate in Tertiary Education.
- Strong supervision capability with Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidates and a commitment to developing future researchers.
- A growing (Level B)



or established (Level C) track record of research outputs, industry collaboration, and external funding success.
- (For Level C) National recognition for research leadership, including success in securing competitive research grants, mentoring early‑career academics, and leading multidisciplinary projects.
- Professional Certificate in Project Management (PMP), PRINCEII Certificate or willingness to achieve these certificates. Membership in Chartered Institute of Building (COIB) (Desirable).
- Industry‑engaged experience, including use of project management frameworks and communication with popular media (Desirable).
