If you thrive at the intersection of cyber security, technology transformation and complex delivery, this is a career-defining opportunity. Our client is investing heavily in their cyber future and building an environment that is adaptive, resilient and genuinely world class. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping how cyber security is embedded across a large, complex and evolving enterprise.
This organisation is not standing still. It is transforming at pace, strengthening its digital foundations, uplifting cyber maturity, and aligning people, process and technology to meet the threats of tomorrow. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team of cyber specialists, architects, engineers and business leaders who are passionate about what they do and driven to deliver meaningful impact.
This role offers exposure, influence and purpose. You will lead large scale cyber initiatives that protect critical systems, safeguard sensitive information and enable the organisation to operate with confidence in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
What you will be doing
You will take ownership of complex cyber programs and projects from end to end. This includes planning, governance, delivery and stakeholder engagement across multiple streams of work. You will be responsible for driving initiatives such as cyber uplift programs, Essential Eight maturity improvements, risk remediation, identity and access management, security operations tooling, regulatory compliance and enterprise wide security enhancements.
You will work closely with cyber specialists and technical teams to translate security strategy into executable delivery plans. You will partner with senior business stakeholders to ensure cyber initiatives are aligned to business priorities and understood at every level of the organisation. You will manage dependencies across technology, risk, legal and operational teams and bring clarity to highly complex programs of work.
This is a hands on leadership role where you will set the rhythm of delivery, manage vendors and partners, control budgets and timelines, manage risks and ensure that outcomes are achieved in a practical and sustainable way. You will also play a key role in change, helping uplift cyber awareness and adoption across the business.
The environment
This is a transformation driven organisation that is investing in its people, platforms and future capability. You will be working within a collaborative, high trust culture where ideas are welcomed, innovation is encouraged and delivery excellence is expected. The cyber function is visible, valued and supported at executive level. You will be empowered to influence, not just execute.
You will be surrounded by bright minds, diverse perspectives and a shared commitment to building an environment that is secure by design and resilient by default.
What we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who has a strong background delivering cyber security programs in complex environments. You thrive in ambiguity, are confident operating across technical and non technical stakeholders, and bring structure and momentum to sophisticated programs of work.
You will bring proven delivery experience across areas such as cyber risk, information security, identity, security operations, regulatory compliance, resilience or critical infrastructure protection. You are comfortable working with frameworks such as the Essential Eight, NIST or ISO standards, and you understand what good cyber maturity really looks like in practice.
Most importantly, you are a natural leader and communicator. You can translate technical risk into business language, bring people on the journey, and create confidence through clarity, structure and action.
