Role Summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Principal Engineer – Network Security (Fortinet Primary) to deliver billable project work across enterprise and government clients. This is a hands‑on technical lead role responsible for design, implementation, and delivery of complex network security solutions.

Current NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory (must already hold it).

Key Responsibilities

- Act as technical lead on network security projects (design → build → migration → handover)
- Deliver Fortinet-based solutions (SASE, SD‑WAN, Firewall, web gateways) including implementation, upgrades, migrations, optimisation
- Produce HLD/LLD, runbooks, test plans and as‑built documentation




- Work across multi‑vendor environments (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, F5)
- Provide strong routing & switching integration into security designs
- Engage directly with customers and project stakeholders

Required Experience & Skills

- 12+ years network/security engineering in project delivery roles
- Strong hands‑on Fortinet expertise
- Fortinet NSE4 and NSE7 (or equivalent) – mandatory
- Proven experience as a technical lead on billable projects
- Strong routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, LAN/WAN)
- Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, F5 (desirable)
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and customer engagement skills

Mandatory Requirement

- Active NV1 Security Clearance – non‑negotiable
