Join a major upgrade project at one of Australia's leading mining operations. We are seeking experienced Painter Blasters to play a critical role on the BHP Bucket Wheel Reclaimer Upgrade Project.
What's on Offer:
- FIFO from Perth to Port Hedland
- 2:1 roster
- Ongoing project work
- Strong site and leadership support
- Prospect to transition onto another major project upon successful completion
Casual Rates commencing from:
• Dayshift: $65.03 inclusive of 25% casual flat loading + penalties
• Nightshift: $78.03 inclusive of 25% casual flat loading and 25% night shift flat loading + penalties
The Role
- Prepare steel surfaces through abrasive blasting to required industry standards prior to coating application.
- Apply protective coatings and paint systems safely and efficiently to achieve quality workmanship.
- Inspect completed work, undertake touch-ups and ensure coatings meet project and client specifications.
- Maintain equipment, follow safety procedures and support the long-term protection and integrity of assets.
About You
- Trade Certificate
- Minimum 3 years' industrial experience as a Painter Blaster
- Previous construction experience within the mining and resources sector
- Work Safely at Heights Certificate
- Current Enter and Work in Confined Space Certificate
