With Corporate Development identified as a key strategic growth pillar by the Board, this business is actively investing in acquisitions and strategic partnerships to accelerate future growth. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly visible team with significant executive backing, where you'll gain exposure across the full investment lifecycle—from evaluating opportunities and executing transactions through to working directly with portfolio companies to drive performance and value creation.

About the Role Reporting into an experienced Corporate Development Manager, you'll support strategic investment activities while helping manage an expanding portfolio of investments.

Unlike many Corporate Development opportunities that focus purely on transactions, this position provides exposure across acquisitions, investment analysis, portfolio management and strategic business partnering. You'll work closely with senior leadership, investee management teams and the Investment Committee, giving you exceptional commercial exposure early in your career.

Key responsibilities include:

- Support the assessment and execution of acquisitions, strategic investments and partnership opportunities.
- Build financial models, valuations and investment analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Coordinate financial due diligence and assist throughout the transaction process.
- Monitor the financial performance of portfolio investments against budgets, forecasts and strategic objectives.




- Build relationships with management teams across investee businesses to understand performance drivers and identify opportunities.
- Prepare investment papers, presentations and commercial recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Support ongoing portfolio management and value creation initiatives across the investment portfolio.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver strategic insights and support business growth.

About You
You will ideally be CA qualified with experience gained within:

- Big 4 Transaction Services, Deals, Corporate Finance or M&A; Advisory; or
- An in-house Corporate Development or Investment team.

In addition, you'll possess:

- Strong financial analysis and commercial acumen.
- Financial modelling and valuation experience.
- Exposure to financial due diligence and transaction processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
- A proactive and commercially curious mindset.
- The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine interest in investments, strategy and corporate development.
