ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Rendering Supervisor, you will:
- Oversee daily rendering operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
- Lead, mentor and coordinate staff across all rendering activities
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and yield performance are met
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, HACCP, and WHS requirements
- Conduct routine equipment checks and work with maintenance to minimise downtime
- Complete and maintain accurate production records and reports
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, safety, and efficiency
- Liaise with other shift supervisors, department managers and internal departments to ensure operational alignment
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience in rendering or meat processing operations
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and compliance requirements
- Problem-solving ability and confidence in making operational decisions
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to lead by example
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
